1. Operation steps for removing dual authentication of Apple ID (both mobile and computer browsers)
- Browser opens Apple ID official websitehttps://appleid.apple.com/, enter your account number and password to log in.
- A Captcha sending prompt pops up on the page, and click [No Captcha Received].
- Jump to the number confirmation page and click [Don't recognize this number].
- A prompt window pops up and click [Close].
- Enter the matching birth date of the account (included in the account information provided by customer service when purchasing the account), and click Continue.
- Fill in the answers corresponding to the three sets of security questions (included in the account information) and click Continue.
- The page prompts you to confirm that dual authentication is turned off, and click [Continue].
- Set the new Apple ID login password, fill in the completion point to continue, and finally click Close. The dual authentication is successfully cancelled.
2. Apple ID account locking self-service unlocking process
- Browser opens the official websitehttps://appleid.apple.com/, enter the account and password to enter the verification page.
- Find the [Unlock Account] button on the page and click.
- Enter the locked Apple ID account and click Continue.
- Check [Answer Security Questions] for verification method, and click Continue.
- Fill in the account registration birthday and all confidential answers in turn, and submit to continue.
- Set a new login password. After submission, the account lock status will be lifted and you can log in normally.
3. Important reminders for operation
- Account birthday and confidential answers are all in the account text sent by customer service after purchase, and are copied and saved in advance to avoid interruption of operations.
- Dual authentication has been opened for more than two weeks, and official channels cannot be closed. They need to be cancelled within two weeks of the first opening.
- It is recommended to use ordinary domestic networks throughout the entire process. accelerators/agents may easily cause page verification to fail.
- After removing dual authentication and unlocking the account, modify the full set of secret information as soon as possible to improve account security.
