1. Explanation of reasons for locking

With the upgrade of Microsoft's email security mechanism, accounts are not bound to secure mobile phones, remote/abnormal IP logins, and frequent logins will trigger account locking. Follow the following steps to self-unlock.

2. Complete unlocking steps

  1. The "Account has been locked" prompt pops up on the login page, and click [Next].
  2. Enter the available mobile phone number and click [Send Code].
  3. Fill in the Captcha of the SMS received on your mobile phone, and click [Submit].
  4. The SMS verification has passed, unlock and intercept, and click [Continue].
  5. The page requires additional security information and filling in the available mobile phone number or alternate mailbox.
  6. Enter the Captcha received by this channel, and click [Next].
  7. Enter the last 4 digits of the mobile phone number and click Send Captcha again.
  8. Fill in the Captcha of the newly received SMS and click [Next].
  9. A confirmation pop-up window pops up and click [Yes] to complete the security binding.
  10. After the unlocking is completed, the fifth email in the mailbox is generally the confirmation Captcha of the Twitter platform, which can be directly accessed.

3. Precautions for use

  1. It is recommended to use an overseas mobile phone number that can receive text messages for unlocking. There is a high probability that domestic mobile phone numbers will not receive verified text messages.
  2. After unlocking, be sure to keep the mobile phone number/alternate mailbox you bound this time, and you can quickly verify it after locking it again.
  3. Do not switch IPs frequently or log out frequently after unlocking is completed to avoid triggering security lock again.
  4. If you can't receive the Captcha multiple times, change to a clean network and traceless browser and try again.
